Who the f*** are the Jam Merchants?

Jam Merchants are a two-piece rock band consisting of two brothers, Sam and Joe Ing.

They've been jamming together since they were kids, Sam on guitar, Joe on drums and both giving their best efforts with vocals. They started writing originals during lockdown and in 2022 decided to officially form the band, posting on Instagram, marking the start of their journey.

They burst onto the scene with two singles 'RENT FREE' and '2:1' which were both written, recorded and produced independently by the two brothers. The EP that followed did not disappoint, characterised by it's fuzzy guitar tones, fast-pace drums, and chantable choruses, each track is as upbeat and energetic as the last. The EP has since amassed over a million streams with the track '2:1' quickly becoming a fan favourite.

They kicked off 2024 with their debut headline show, organising a Charity Gig at The Amersham Arms in New Cross to raise money for War Child UK. This, paired with a livestream fundraiser of a recorded gig helped them raise over £700 for the charity. Following that they also headlined at Off the Cuff in Herne Hill and The Finsbury in Finsbury Park as well as playing their debut festival slot at Big Tree Festival in East Sussex in August and supporting The Public Eye on their Pursuit of Excellence Tour.

2025 saw Jam Merchants enter self-proclaimed 'Chapter 2', releasing their second EP 'ADDED TIME' with help from producers Joe Menzies and Dan Short. They played in shows in London, Liverpool and Leeds supporting Strawberry Lace on their UK Tour.
